Jesus Roman Brovia was born in Spain in 1955. Basically a self-taught artist, he has exhibited his art regularly since 1986 in galleries in Madrid, Barcelona and Ginebdra. His style is impressionist and he draws inspiration from everyday scenes of the working class, incorporating their hopes, dreams and despairs into his small works of art. “I wish to show the average man and woman, those who are not necessarily rich or happy, yet those who have a story to tell. I try to incorporate a bit of those stories in my paintings, states Brovia.
